2004 Chevrolet Malibu
The Malibu has always been perceived as a practical car with a price tag that
wouldn't put you on a choke hold. Its features are based on comfort and easeness
in driving. This year Chevrolet pushed the envelope to develop a very competitive
Chevrolet Malibu that would give the Japanese auto makers a scare. The all new
Malibu is loaded with features that is standard on most of the trims. The whole
car has been re-engineered for superior drive, handling and over all performance.
The four-door Malibu is available in three different trim levels, the base, LS
and LT. The base model comes well equipped with such standard features as air
conditioning; a CD player; a height-adjustable driver seat; a tilt-and-telescoping
steering wheel; power windows, mirrors and door locks; and a 60/40-split folding
rear seat. The midlevel LS adds features like alloy wheels, power-adjustable pedals,
cruise control, keyless entry, premium cloth seats, front map lights, a cargo
net in the trunk, lumbar support for the driver and an upgraded stereo with a
driver information center. The LT is the top-of-the-line Malibu, and it adds even
more luxury features like a remote vehicle starter, heated leather seats, automatic
climate control, 16-inch wheels, foglights and front and rear reading lights.
Options include an in-dash CD changer, satellite radio, a sunroof and OnStar telematics.
The remote vehicle starter is optional on base and LS models.
